By Priya Baboota (Web correspondent)
Jim Carrey guested 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' in 1995 to promote his the sequel "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls". The day after the interview it premiered nationwide. In the show Jim was wearing a grey suit and bowed to the audience to say thanks for welcoming him.
He explained to Jay about how he is feeling by saying, "I am Aces Jay!", and shouted in Tarzan's voice with his ass. He further said, "Its a little twist on the Carol Brunette thing."
He told Jay Leno that he has been going to lots of shows to promote the comedy and has been asked the same questions all the time! He said that he keeps changing his answers to the same questions every time asked to him. For example, he said, "If I like working with the animals." He asked Jay to ask this question again and again to get different answers. Each time Jay asked him that questions he gave very sarcastic answers and got more hyper that he broke his water cup and pointed towards Jay Leno in order to save himself from attacking him.
Further in the interview, Jay congratulated him for getting his hands and feet printed at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Jim said that it's not the first time he has done it and he "wears it well!" Jay talked about the catch phrase in the cement. Jim showed a couple of practice phrases pictures to the audience. One of them was "If your feet are actually this size, congratulations on your penis!" Then Jim said that the phrase "merrily merrily merrily" actually is a profound song like Buddhist!
Leno asked how Jim Carrey is at home. Jim said that he has a normal home life. He has 3 dogs. His dog Tommy keeps barking at every moving thing, even the leaves. He was sent to the school to learn not to bark. When he came back he was very quiet. Jim saw some kind of box around his collar and he tried it on himself.
