While I was out west
Going to school
I lost my home
I tried to get back
In time to save it
But it was not possible
When u loose something that
You worked all your life to
Attain
First feelings are a feeling of
Hopelessness
But thankfully with family, friends, churches
And people who care about you
You make it thru
It is an uphill battle tho

You just keep putting
One foot in front
If the other
And keep
Going

U will feel some of your saddest
Moments
But
U will learn what truly matters
In life

Histories show how
Hundreds have
Had to pick up together
And just leave and
Start over
Or
Thousands have to hunker down
And prepare for what was
To come
There are others who
Just start cleaning
Up
Then Others join
And help creating even
Something better than what was before
