Jim Carrey starring in "Kidding"

Hey JCO,

It's wonderful that Jim's gonna be back on TV again. I'll be looking forward into seeing the "Kidding" as well as "I'm Dying Up Here".
From what I've read on "Kidding", it sounds more like an half-hour drma than a half-hour comedy. But I think it could be categorized as a comedy/drama. That's what I think.

Can I be honest? My first reaction was anything but enthusiastic when I learned he was going to do a half hour comedy show. Why? Let's be honest, A-list movie stars going back to TV for 30 minutes of sitcom, 9 out of 10 times that's not a good sign. Robin Williams doing The Crazy Ones was also labeled as the end of the big Robin Williams. It crashed and he was too good for it, imo. So ... This Kidding-news. Wasn't digging the idea.

Then I saw who's involved and it changed everything. A new Gondry team-up? Yeah! And I really like the premise too. It can offer a lot of range for Jim as an actor. I guess it will be a bit quirky in a good way, not your typical Carrey at all and I do like the sound of that.

Steve, my reaction was exactly the same First I was like "Comedy series? Come on, I was expecting an Oscar movie!" Then I clicked on the link and "Ohh, Michel Gondry? That's gonna be goood!!!"

Now I can't wait

i'm completely open minded about anything he does now but a comedy show will give him the chance to explore new characters and ideas As long as he enjoys the process and has fun who cares if it's on TV...

Well, the premise isn't new. It's not something we've never seen before. Then again, it's Michel Gondry and SHOWTIME, so i guess anything could happen. I'm curious but not super excited.

I want to see also who will join the cast as his father, wife, brother, then i will have a clear opinion, bacause in general, a great material attracts great people.

o jc but i dont say it..i hold back, its hard but its okay, god know jcs a good hearted soul and nothing negative that haaters have to say can change that good person of the heart..just thought i would share that thought here today

kidding...i got robbed the other day, not kidding
2 30 in the morning...my shop
they were so clean and neat, not one thing was broken they never took anything but a till that had a bunch of nickles and few dimes in it
only thing i had to replace was the key lock and over time
still could have bin worse so...
today, still not kidding...the local ex reformed rapper dude guy who makes his rounds around town to the locals just to say hi, how are ya, your a queen, a princes
anyways i said, hey brad..you supposed to protect us from robbers cuz he did time himself
and anyways i think its all gonna be alight now...all is good
now

I've seen 2 films with Catherine this year Get Out and We Don't Belong Here. She's a fine actress. Thumbs Up !
