I hardly talk here but I have to say you should calm down. Mike Myers, of course in my own opinion, is pretty damn talented. But just because I say he is talented does not mean Jim is not also. Myers looks like he did a good job at playing the Cat just like Jim did a good at playing the Grinch. Of course, you have your own opinion and I can't change that, but Jim is not the only talented man on Earth. <!--EZCODE BOLD START--><strong>Well it's clear that you don't know much about the Cat in the hat! Or you haven't seen the movie! The movie Mike Myers did was not even close to the character. The cat in the hat Mike Myers did was Austin Powers in a cat suit. For those of us that grew up with Dr Suess and the cat in the hat, It was so horrible to see a movie that had our hopes up that finally they had made a movie about one one the best childhood stories. I myself was raised with Dr Suess and my children and now my Grandchildren. I was really disappointed to see the mess portrayed on screen and labled Cat in the Hat! I am sorry for all you Mike Myers fans. But Jim Carrey is the man that would have portrayed the Cat in it all it's true glory! This Movie now showing with Mike Myers is a sad joke! and we prove to be a black mark on him as an actor for most movie goers. I know that I was for warned not to see it, that it was a waste of good money! I could not believe that it could have been as bad as people were saying! But in my opinion it was worse! My Grandchildren did not even like it. Children notice things more so that adults about story book characters. They have all the fine details fresh in their minds. I am so sorry if I have offended anyone of Myers fans, but the fact is Jim Carrey is a better Actor and comedian. He has a special talent for bringing the true character to screen and still adding his own flare! Some things can be tampered with and come out better. Cat in the Hat is not one of them! It is awesome in it's own natural state! And if I might add the only storybook that through the years has passed generation to generation that is not assoiated with a comic book, holiday or Christ. Most of the others have slowly faded. However I am not alone in my feelings, most people that have seen feel the same, I am just the one who took the time to speak out! I do not ever visit or post anywhere, But this is something worth trying to correct, on the not so serious side of life. I go to the movies to relax and get away from the real troubles of the world. But this movie brought me upset and disappointment! So I decided to act! i came here to ask Jim to do the Movie for us, because i know he will do it right and give it 100% or he won't do it at all!! I guess you missed Mike Myers in some of his guest spots saying things like I grew up on Cat in the hat and how special it was to him to be able to bring this character to screen because of Dear ole Mom! Please the man had no clue or insight here, If he had ever been raised on cat in the hat, There is no way he would have done this movie this way!</strong><!--EZCODE BOLD END--> <p></p><i></i>

I just have to say.. ITS NOT MIKE MYERS FAULT! ITS THE DIRECTOR... he obviously should have picked Jim to also fit the cat in the hat role.. When i watched the grinch Jim Fit that role like a...a...
