For those of us disappointed with the noticeable absence of the GMTV interview on Monday 16th, there was a pleasant surprise on Tuesday 17th when they did in fact get around to showing it.
Jim was in 'fine fettle' albeit weary looking, when Jackie Brambles interviewed him during his flying European visit in early December, to promote Fun With Dick and Jane.
Joking as usual, he discussed his visit to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday 6th December to see Chelsea V's Liverpool and novelty of it. He also described the period of life when his father lost his job and the ensuing poverty and hardship which was accompanied by the appropriate Fun With Dick and Jane movie clips.
