The Grinch and Cindy-Lou Reunite

Time flies! It’s hard to imagine that "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is already 25 years old. It’s even harder to believe how long it’s been since Jim Carrey — who played the titular character — and his co-star Taylor Momsen — who played Cindy-Lou Who — last saw each other. Taylor was only seven years old at the time, but her memories of working with Jim remain very sweet:
“I just love that he was very protective of me. He was always very kind. And just the entire experience of filming The Grinch and getting to know him so well, even in all the makeup, was just wonderful.”
The two reunited this weekend at the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, brought together by their mutual love for Seattle legends Soundgarden. Jim presented the honor, while Taylor performed two of the band’s songs. On the red carpet before the ceremony, they saw each other again:
