Sonic 3 – Production Start Date

Both Sonic the Hedgehog movies became a huge box office success so it’s no wonder that a 3rd movie is on its way. The third movie will continue from where it left of.
The entire cast hasn’t been confirmed yet but we know for sure:
Ben Schwartz (Sonic), James Marsden (Tom Wachowski), Idris Elba (Knuckles) and Colleen O'Shaughnessey (Tails) will come back. We are not yet sure of Jim Carrey will come back as Dr. Robotnik. At the end of the second film his character aparently died but so far there’s no word if he will come back again.
We are only certain that if Jim Carrey doesn’t come back the role won’t be recast, therefore, Dr. Robotnik would have died at the end of the previous movie. We will have to wait and see.
The official production will start on August 31th in London. We can’t wait!
