Jim Carrey wins Boston Critics' Award
16 Dec 1999 Awards season is now officially open. This is the balance so far regarding "Man on the Moon":
- Boston Society of Film Critics Awards - Jim Carrey wins Best Actor Award.
- Toronto Film Critics Association Awards - Kevin Spacey wins Best Actor Award. Jim Carrey is runner-up.
Other movie awards already handed were The New York Film Critics Circle Awards, the LA Film Critics Association Awards and The National Board of Review Awards.
One of the most prestigious awards to be handed yet are The Golden Globes. Yesterday, December 16, was the deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of the nomination ballots which were sent to all the members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. On December 20, at 5:30 a.m., the nominations announcement will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
