Carrey wins Kids' Choice Award
22 Apr 2001 J.T. Carrey, Dana and BCDavis reported that Jim Carrey won a Kids' Choice Blimp Award in the category of Favorite Movie Actor at Nickelodeon's 14th Annual Kids' Choice Awards. The award was given for his performance in "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas", which was also voted Favorite Movie. The event was telecast live, Saturday, April 21 at 8 p.m. ET from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. Jim Carrey could not attend the event as he was filming "The Majestic" in Ferndale.
