"Aleister Arcane" can be the next Jim Carrey movie

I'm sure we have mention before how, sometimes, movies stay a very long time in development. "Aleister Arcane" is one of them.
The movie will be based on the horror comic book by Steve Niles and Breehn Burns with the same.
The comic tells you the story of Aleister Green who "loves playing late night TV horror host Aleister Arcane in his hometown of Jackson, OK…at least, until Jackson's establishment forces him off the air and into unhappy retirement, and an early grave. But Aleister has left a little gift behind - will Jackson ever be the same?"
Eli Roth will be the director and recently he was asked about upcoming projects and he mentioned the movie: "This actually happened because I was going to - and I'm still supposed to - direct an adaptation of a graphic novel called Aleister Arcane with Jim Carrey, which is an even crazier Gremlins-, Beetlejuice-type movie."
He also mention the writer is working on the script.
Even though there's very little info we can see the potential for it.
