Jim Carrey As "Jack Sparrow"

Let's turn back time to 2003. That's the year when Jim Carrey's movie "Bruce Almighty" premiered and the year the "Pirates of The Caribbean" saga, started. But what many people may not know is that back in 2003, Disney's first choice to play Captain Jack Sparrow, was Jim Carrey but Jim passed the role in order to do "Bruce Almighy"!
Recently, rumors started that Jim Carrey may replace Johnny Depp in the 5th installement of the saga, that has been in prodution as we speak.
Aparently, some rumored issues with the actor are causing trouble.
We welcome any project that Jim Carrey has but we are cautious about rumors that have not been proven truth. What do you think, could Jim Carrey be perfect for the role?
