Vote for Jim Carrey for Best Fight

The time has finally come!
Nominations have been announced for the 2014 MTV Movie Awards. The live event will be hosted by Conan O'Brien, and will be shown on Sunday April 13th.
Jim Carrey is once again nominated, but this time he's not on his own. He and several castmates from the hit comedy sequel "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" are up for Best Fight for the spectacular climatic duel of the newscasters. Joining Jim in the nomination is Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Steve Carell, James Marsden, Sacha Baron Cohen, Kanye West, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Marion Cotillard, Will Smith, Liam Neeson, John C. Reilly, and Greg Kinnear.
Other nominees in the category hoping to go up against the dueling newscasters include:
- Jason Bateman vs. Melissa McCarthy (Identity Thief)
- Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly vs. Orcs (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug)
- Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Sam Claflin vs. Mutant Monkeys (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire)
- Jonah Hill vs. James Franco and Seth Rogen (This is the End)
This marks Jim's 23rd nomination in the award show's two decade history. He so far took home 11 golden popcorns (including the 2006 MTV Generation Award) more they any other winner.
