New ILYPM poster released

As the much anticipated "I Love You Phillip Morris" starts securing worldwide release dates, the publicity machine starts to grind into action and the latest international promotional poster has been released to mixed response.
Unlike the original poster which showed a 'loved up' Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor, the new poster omits the photogenic Ewen in favour of a solo Jim, with the notable absence of any hint of the films content. Is this the compromise it took to secure distributers, or a nod to Jims selling power? Perhaps it was purely an artistic decision, the new poster certainly hints at 'Indie' film status compounded by the 'Cannes' symbol.
Is it a better choice of poster?
