Playing
the Grinch was a smart move on Carrey's part, since many young children
probably have never seen Carrey in action since this is his first
family-orientated film. Now a whole new generation gets to see him
in full physical-comedic force. Despite all of this though, Carrey
finally met his match as far as scene-stealing goes -- and his competition
comes from a dog named Max.
The
Grinch's dog in the film is absolutely adorable and overacts even
more than Carrey. The scenes the two are in together almost is battle-like,
with one always trying to out do the other. They have great chemistry
and are an absolute joy to watch.
