Anyone have a cure for insomnia?

Here is where you discuss everything under the sun, just keep it clean.

Anyone have a cure for insomnia?

Post by wonderbunny »

Age old question, but I'm dying here. Seven weeks and counting. I've tried over exercising, (yeah weight loss); no caffeine, and de-stressifying my life. Still.... 1:00am wide awake. Any ideas? (I have my Jim Carrey video collection In Living Color just for review)

That's true. I got a quarter way in. Actually it was OK, but just a heavy read. I'll get to the end eventually, but of course, now I'll have to start again as I've forgotten what's happeneing!!

I'm normally still up at 1am too but that's just normal for me.
Do you have a quiet bedroom, a settling atmosphere? That all helps.
Everybody should believe in something.
I believe I'll have another coffee!

Do more during the day.

I had it for about 5 years, and now I walk more, and do more things, I sleep like a baby every night...

I found that watching TV or reading a book just keeps my mind active...

Did you try to take a really hot bath? That really makes tired.
Or listen to a boring audiobook, narrated by just one person. 1hr filled with the same voice. Works perfectly, at least in my case

Having a Jim with me would be be grand, but reality sets in. So I'll muttle along. I even have videos: African Healing Dance? (Bought those in the 80's) its spritual growth thing. Move like a gazelle.... right! African Yoga.
