I found this on a message board:<br><br>Madonna will be cast as Esme Squalor and Johnny Depp is rumored to play Jerome, Esme's boyfriend. This rumor is coming from a tabloid. The article was about how Madonna's career was on a slump, but is coming back. They said that, and I quote, "Her apparent role in the upcoming Lemony Snicket sequel just might give Madonna the career boost that she's been waiting for.
