Its hard to figure, who actually sees this website. We have a big group, but only a few actually post. I wonder why people just read, and don't comment? "Who's reading this stuff....?' Spooky! Just join in, great group and lively discussions.

i agree...i was "sucked in" to joining after reading the topic "does Jim still..." and got into some great discussions about religion and spirituality...i personally really like the anonymity of it all...not that i wouldn't want to get close to anyone - just that it's kind of nice really speaking from your heart when you know you're not going to be judged...
i was surprised it was mostly women at first and then i thought - geez, if i think he seems like an amazing guy - so must a lot of women...

My experience was the same...I found the site, and we had the auction...but I had never gone on ANY forum before and the first one I clicked on was...Does Jim Still....and there I sat until I had finished reading every last post.....and I moved in after that.searching_for_sunshine wrote:i agree...i was "sucked in" to joining after reading the topic "does Jim still..." and got into some great discussions about religion and spirituality...i personally really like the anonymity of it all...not that i wouldn't want to get close to anyone - just that it's kind of nice really speaking from your heart when you know you're not going to be judged...

I came on last year and was surprised to find it! I was a looky loo for a while. I've never been involved in a 'chat' room, and even once vowed you'd never catch me in one. And not too long after, I queried "how do I participate in this discussion?' I too like to ananomity/familiarity aspect of it. Fascinating concept. Do I go postal often? You bet

It was very easy to acclimate to. I don't remember what my first post was. . . but I can remember thinking man I'm ALWAYS gonna be the underdog here, these people must be even more obsessive than me. . .you know what kind of awakening took place when I found out that I was one of the most obsessive people here. . .it shocked the crap out of me. . . then I realized you were all female, another schoker, then we started playing off eachother, and having really good conversations (some of wich were rather. . .odd.), and I made friends with Lammy, (who I really miss by the way). . . I had to stay, so locked myself up here and swallowed the key. . .I have it back now, (don't ask). . .I think I'll try throwing it away this time.
What can I say. . . I love you guys.
