Hey people tell me how this sounds.ahem.

Dear Jim

I have been member of this website for almost 2 years now. about 1 1/2 years ago somebody stole my username and posted all kinds of nasty things about you and your ......um.....sock. IT WAS NOT ME I SWEAR!!!!! I WOULD NEVER POST ANY THING LIKE THAT!!!! I think it was really one of the other members of this messageboard. PPPPLLLLEEEAAASSSEEE BELIEVE ME!!!!!!

Does that sound convincing???

Yeah, and I felt a bit guilty for not being as up on the Jim films as the rest of you.

My grandma rolls her eyes when I say Jim Carrey's my favorite actor, so I went to the video store and rented "The Majestic" again. We saw it in the theatre together, but she will enjoy it again. She's seen "An Officer and a Gentleman" fitty times, I swear.

So that's on for tonight. I will get all maudlin and sentimental again...but at least I won't think Martin Landau is dead. Because now I know better.

Ok, so I not only got "The Majestic"....I got "Liar Liar" (never saw the whole thing all the way through) "Ace Ventura" (BOTH of them)...which I will have to watch after she's in bed because if she sees JC bend over and talk out his butt she will give me "the look".

And I rented Eternal Sunshine again.

Should I report back?

Congratulations on your Moderator job, Quirky! That means you can lock us up and delete us whenever you want. WE ARE IN YOUR CONTROL NOW! Maybe you can also play around with our posts so that they say something entirely different like"I am stupid and ugly".

But you would never do that. Right?

I am having such a good time reading the threads on this site! You are all hilarious! So cool to be hearing the thoughts of people from all parts of the globe....I think Jim probably gets a kick from reading your thoughts and dreams! As far as any "copying" that is suspected, creative minds will tell you that being an observer of life is what fuels many ideas! I am a self-labeled "copy-cat"--I LOVE observing people, so many amazing humans out there!! I've learned how to do many things by just watching how others cope, struggle, and soar through their own lives. If Jim takes anything from this site it is not with malicious intent but a spin on what he has observed, in my humble opinion! Thoughts?

ok, I am a complete idiot...someone please tell me what GMT time is and why my post says Thursday when it is 5:35pm on Wed in my world? Please? Anyone?
