Sounds a little like Me, Myself & Irene. I wish Jim would actually go back to comedy, cause he does make us all laugh and he has done a good run of dramas.

However, though I didn't realise... well I knew he had a production company but has it ever produced any of his movies? If JC23 owns it or has rights to it im sure he'd probebly be doing it. And if its an unusual script in a good way im sure Jim wouldnt pass up the opportunity

yes FWDAJ and Bruce Almighty maybe others too but those ones are the only ones I can think of right now
