NEW OFFICIAL INFORMATION!

'Ace Ventura Jr.' is now confirmed to be released January 27th 2009 as a DVD Premiere.

Morgan Creek Productions
Warner Brothers.
and Universal Pictures are distributing the direct-to-DVD sequel.

Direct-to-DVD=CRAP.

Actually, that's not always the case. Steven Seagal has made one or two really good direct-to-DVD flicks. But then again Steven Seagal's movies are pretty basic. He's not trying to impersonate one of the funniest actors of the '90s like this poor kid is doing. Whoever has casted this poor kid to play Ace should be arrested for child abuse for the years upon years of shame and detriment this godawful movie is going to bring upon his name and reputation as an actor.

But at least it won't be shown in theaters; so a lot of people won't end up seeing it.

It's sort of a shame we won't be seeing any negative reviews or read about how bad it's done via Box Office Mojo.

I guess you're not old enough to remember movies like "Under Seige" and "Above the Law" that the majority of the critics (and people who have seen them) actually liked. It's not a surprise that, even with the majority of the critics, these movies were loved a hell of a lot better than crap like "The Number 23," which would have probably been a direct-to-DVD if Jim Carrey's name wasn't attached to it.

As for Seagal, again, I said at least a few of his direct-to-DVD movies would be more tolerable than this inevitable dungheap of a movie.

Thanks for the link. I just watched it and, man! It looks as lame as I was expecting. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on buying the DVD.

awe, it does look really poor which is a shame, it's just a kid imitating Ace :? .......i love the wee dog with the helmet on though........... :D
