there's a sinus headache that is trying to rule my world today...but I'm hoping it will give up and leave me alone

Sad day. My Grandad slipped away this evening.

He was a lot weaker today and unresponsive. I left him just before 7 tonight and he passed away just before 9.30pm. My Mum and Dad were with him. It was peaceful at the end. Which I guess is all you can wish for.

I'm sad. But happy too that he had a good life and it ended well.

My general view of death is to celebrate the life that was, not mourn it.......so I'm trying to make that my philosophy right now.

I like that! My Dad and I were discussing that all my Grandad's friends are dead already! My Dad's side of the family is so small. He was an only child. I think it might be a quiet funeral. I guess that measn I'll have to take my maracas and liven the proceedings up with a song.....

I am sorry about your loss Niobe... and I think you are right in terms of celebrating the life and the legacy of those who had left this world... that is what counts afterall.

Oh mood: Totally forgot. Had dr visit today. Told him that I'm usually completely wound up with racing thoughts every night about 5. He didn't change anything.

OMG - Is it five? Is it five? I need Rice A Roni, I wonder if the bird is happy, I need to replace the kitchen light, maybe I'll have a nice soaky bath, I wonder what's on TV, OH PBS lightning strikes cool, well - cool to learn about ... not to have, there's that supermodel show, I really need to clean my room again, I wonder why my room gets so messy, I need to get a chest of drawers......
