Jim, I am very sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one at such a young age. May God comfort you and your family. My heart and my prayers go out to you all.

What a tragedy! I have tears n my eyes. My condolences go out to the entire family. He was too young! I'm glad that his sister will be surrounded by family members during the difficult time. Together they can remember and honor Marty.

o Jim:
Take it easy, baby
And, be good to yourself. Life can throw curve balls at you that can break your heart. But, always remember- to just relax and breathe.

For Jim and Cheryl Anna.....

"Courage is not the towering oak that sees storms come and go;
it is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow."
--Alice M. Swain

I keep deleting stuff that I write--it is all so trite sounding. Hang in there, Jim. You bring joy to so many. Take time to mourn but understand that when we see you open in the snow, you are impacting our lives and spreading the ability to stand and not crumble. We love you for that.
Cheryl Anna, you have written of the disease that takes from you even as you live. You have the same kind of courage....in your most challenging days I hope you can remember that the fragile blossom isn't even sure of a safe place....and yet it pushes its way up and into the light regardless of what it may find. And when it does, it brings beauty and hope to all who see it.

My heart is crying for mom and family

Post by Canadian Jayne »

My daughter and her fiance were just at their own stag and doe on friday and are getting married in August, my heart would break.
I think of how I would feel, I love my kids soooooo much.
My heart is crying for all. Life can be so tragic sometimes.
I'm glad Jim is there.
Daisy you can go to His favorite spot and hold a small
memorial for him there, just his high school friends, that's what I
would do.

Words can't express how deeply sorry I feel about this. Last Fall, my cousin, 33 years old, was tragically killed in a tractor trailer crash. It was very hard for my family. Jim, my heart goes out to you, your sister and her family at this time. Take strength.

my deepest sympathy to you and your family, Jim.

when my father passed away, my mantra became (and i wish i remembered where it came from) "sorrowful yet rejoicing" there is so much grieving that we need to do to make our souls a little less tender but we also must remember that those of us left behind need to make the most of our lives as a tribute to loved ones that have gone on before. but all in good time....

how sweet is this, Marty is going to be buried at the same cemetary as Jim's parents, I still don't believe he's gone..
