I got the Blu-Ray yesterday at a Fry's Electronics which seemed to be the only store to have any copies in their stores. I've watched pretty much all the extras and the movie itself now. The movie does look much sharper and in a crisper quality so I think the blu-ray version definitely does it justice.

I really enjoyed the rehearsal footage extras - and the HBO Inside look of the Cable Guy. It is amazing they were even able to finish the film because of how many times Ben Stiller laughs while rolling the cameras.

The commentary is good as well - I think my favorite part was finding out how and why the Medieval Times scene got included into the film.

From my experiences it is better quality but only if you have an hd tv. Really the only reason I got one was because it usually has more special features. (ie. The cable guy) :chip:

I have one thats hooked up to a regular tv and I love it. More features then a dvd has and depending on the movie you are watching it can be a bit more interactive. They have come down a lot in price now too.

I am LMFAO! Did anybody else hear the fart sound in the background when Matthew was looking down during the basketball scene???lol

Why did they cut out all those deleted scenes? I love The Cable Guy but they should have left in some of those deleted scenes especially the TV scene and the mud scene.

The rehearsals are also good. The HBO one and the Canned Ham one is also good but they have already been on tv
