he even said in an interview he did in 1999 or there abouts (Tommy has just done the video) he would do supporting roles for films he liked and people he admired, even then he said he would do it and he is.

I think that he is concentrating more on his family and doesn't want to do as many movies. Leading roles need a lot of energy, especially if you're Jim so he might just be taking it easy. Just a thought
