Street Cleaning machines that wake me up
at about 4:00 a.m. so if I go to bed at 2:00 a.m.
I'd say I'm up every two hours
arghhh!

I grew up in Toronto and the street cleaners sound like
a jumbo jet landing in your back yard
in my case a side street
I slept better living close to the Toronto Airport in the 70's
than I do here.

Re: Owls......heard a Parrot though

Post by Canadian Jayne »

Yesterday I heard what sounded like a
bird whistle,
my daughter said "No, it's a real bird"
Lo and behold, it was

A Parrot,

He even says "pretty bird"

They have really scarry beaks,
But quite beautiful

are all over California.
I was told the other day that
sometimes the parrots get out or escape
and are now propogating all around California.
I wonder if that is true.
