Censorship vs. tolerance of different opinions

I've watched the board for several weeks now. I am as concerned about the increase in censoring of people who don't "conform" with majority opinion... as I am about the occasional aggression or hostility on the site. In fact, it has started to appear to me that some of the people who asked for or supported less hostility and agression (which I agree to a certain extent with) are now displaying some of these same qualities in their desire to chastise others who do not support their view. Let's aim for somewhere in the middle. I think Jim is wise enough to enjoy some diversity of thought and I'm sure he's able to deal with people's negativity as well as adoration. Yeah I agree ,but this is a Jim Carrey message board so if that want to show there negative views why don't they do it else where? I'm sure there are some sites like that? I try not to be aggressive on here. If said anything that sounded aggressive it certainly wasn't meant to be.
