I would love to know when Jim Carrey will start filming "Damn Yankees" and "Ripley's Believe or Not"? It'll be to see him in those movies.
Sincerely,
Terry Marvin (Dallas, Texas)

Both projects are frozen for ages now, I don't think we will see the Jim Carrey version in this lifetime.

Re: "Damn Yankees" and "Ripley's Believe or Not"
I was listening to a song called
Evil Hearted Man sung by
Josh white
his life is an amazing story
and somehow connects into the
Peter Appleton (Majestic) story
I was thinking that this song would
great if a few words were tweeked
and used in Dan Yankees
I still like the ideology
of this movie
instead of baseball
The sport would be
National gamer (eg call to duty)
Today, I think this is
more popular than baseball was
If we took a Poll of how many people
are or have been gamers
I wonder what statistics would show
over the last 10 years
Will it ever b an Olympic sedentary sport?
I wonder

I think they must have been shelved now...........Ripley's was starting to get out of control financially and musicals haven't done so well for a while........

It doesn't have to be a musical
I believe the adversity against good and evil
would make this movie great
with a few punches of comedy in there
But there still needs to be excellent musical background
to make the movie fly

I looked at "Wikipedia"
and a poll taken from gamers in the U.S. showed
" 52% of parents believe video games are a positive part of their child’s life and 71% of parents with children under 18 see gaming as beneficial to mental stimulation or education
The Gamers are on!

Here's an interesting article showing the positives and negatives......

I confess i'm against too much exposure and they should certainly be following the age guidelines.......i've got 6 year olds who play Grand Theft Auto at school.....
