Concert for NY
Concert for NY
I sat thru the whole thing, wondering when Jim and Michael J Fox were gonna show up.
Then they did and it was good.
=)
Mike got to introduce the mayor, and Jim got to ntroduce Paul McCartney. This was me the whole time after Jim intro-ed him:
"Please, let him sing, Please let him sing!" times about 20.
Well he did. But No one could hear him! This was me again:
"Go make your way up to Bon Jovi...He's hoggin the mic. There's enough to share."
I was kinda pissed when Jim and Selma and the other guy who where standing to the left of Paul durning "Let it Be" didnt get a mic... Bummer.
Oh well, he was still excellent.
STAGE DIVE!

Yeah, his little stage dive was mega cool.
Also loved the flag bit, I would have saluted for sure ... heeheee!

Dana, who to most was more a psycho than a therapist

Re: Concert for NY
Yeah, but I thought he was gonna take off his jacket and have a flag on his back or something. Still very funny though.
Hehe.
"That is trust, man."

Re: Concert for NY
He was on so late, I was starting to worry that he wasn't going to be there (or that they would run out of time for him).

Glad to see I wasn't the only person hoping he would sing -- I so wanted to see him and Elton do their "Rocket Man" duet again.

He was absolutely adorable with the kids of the firefighters during "Let it Be".

Concert for NY
I didn't see the concert, either, because from approx. 10:30PM-1:30AM I was outside of MSG at the corner of 8th Ave. & 31st St. (I think) waiting for the celebs--especially Jim--to exit. 8th was blocked off and the exit from the building was about halfway down the street. Well, I didn't see Jimmy or propose to him, but I saw Pat O'Brien from Entertainment Tonight, Reggie Jackson, and a couple others being interviewed. G2g someone wants this computer,

Watch for it soon on CBS. They're playing it on there...
I'm not sure when...

Concert for NYC on CBS
CBS is advertising that the concert will be aired this Wednesday (31st) at 10 PM EST. It's only going to be on for an hour, so they're going to have to only show a few choice hilights (out of nearly 6 hours of footage !!). The good news is that the commercial listed Jim as one the performers, so they should be showing at least part of his bit.
