Sonic 4 Trailer with Jim Carrey Expected Soon
19 Sep 2026 By Tommy Pihl (Editor-in-Chief)
With just six months to go until the premiere of "Sonic the Hedgehog 4", excitement is building among fans of Jim Carrey, especially as we wait to see Jim Carrey return as Dr. Robotnik. Now, a mysterious new merchandise listing has caught our attention and sparked even more curiosity about the upcoming movie.
Screenshots reportedly from UK retailer B&M’s system show a product called 'Sonic 2.5' Fig + Dino', priced at £24.99. Other listings include new Sonic figures, a vehicle set and a plush.
The word Dino has naturally led to speculation. Could Sonic encounter dinosaurs in the new movie? At the moment, there is no proof. The listing has no image or description, so it is impossible to know what Dino actually refers to.
The rumor is especially interesting because Sonic 4 has already been linked to possible time-travel and multiverse elements. However, Paramount and SEGA have not confirmed those reports.
Meanwhile, we are eagerly waiting for the first trailer, especially because it could give us our first look at Jim Carrey in "Sonic the Hedgehog 4". After his memorable performances as Dr. Robotnik, there is plenty of curiosity about what he will look like and what his character will be up to this time. Scooper Beyond Reporter claims editing on the trailer has begun and believes it could arrive as early as October. Paramount has not announced a trailer release date yet, but fans are hoping the first footage won't be too far away.
For now, the mysterious Dino listing is simply another piece of Sonic 4 speculation. We’ll have to wait and see what Sonic’s next adventure really has in store.
