So cool! Jim Carrey's book will become a movie. Netflix has started the process, now delayed due to the Corona virus. According to what we know Netflix Executives got an advance copy of the book and after reading it, they were very interested in bring it to fiction. The plan was for a TV show but with the worldwide pandemic it may be just a movie.
Either way, Netflix has been proving the risk and maybe the biggest one will be the casting of the role of Jim Carrey, who apparently will be a woman, Ari Graynor. Ari stared in "I'm Dying Up Here" a Showtime TV show that Jim produced. A few years ago that could have been a problem but nowadays with CGI and make up… everything is possible!
