Kathleen Turner Joins "Dumb & Dumber To"

As shooting begins this Fall on the upcoming sequel to the 1994 blockbuster Dumb & Dumber, Variety reports that Kathleen Turner is the first new star set to appear in the sequel opposite Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. Her role is undisclosed, but will more likely be prominent to the story.
You may remember Turner from her roles in such 80's classics as "Body Heat", "Romancing the Stone" as the voice of Jessica Rabbit in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and in "Peggy Sue Got Married" with Jim Carrey. She was recently seen in the drama "The Perfect Family".
Written and directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly, "Dumb & Dumber 2" sees the middle-aged Lloyd (Carrey) and Harry (Daniels) going cross-country to find their long-lost children. The movie is set for a Summer 2014 release to coincide with the original's 20th anniversary.
