Have you ever just sat there and wondered if your parents ever looked at you as a toddler and thought, "Just think, later in their lives they'll be Jim Carrey freaks."
(Not thats there's anything wrong with being a Jim freak)

no but i think my mom looked at me and said i would be some form of a freak. Jim Carrey or otherwise.

Yeah, I asked my dad that and he just looked at me like that was the dumbest question I had ever asked, then said no. I only wish I had fallen for Jim a long time ago.

My family just figured (perhaps hoped) that I would 'outgrow' this whole liking of Jim some where around 14 or 15...wrong...it changed from just liking him as an actor to thinking he was hot and nine years later, I still think he's flippin hot!

i agree with you on that one!! lol.. when i grew older i started thinking he was gorgeous lol.. i suppose when your about 7 you dont think like that lol!!!!

I was 12 when it hit me and I still feel the same, althought I'm not so edgy now! Love the guy!

I think my family can pretty much just forget about me not being a fan of Jim, because I will always be hundred percent devoted
and I will always find him attractive.

Jim is a part of my daily life, no matter how crazy that sounds and my parents and brother know that. 'As long as I'll live, I'll adore that guy' I said, they like him I guess! But I'll always remember when my godmother told me 'Oh, it will be over in six months, just a fad!' No matter how much I'd hate one's interest, I would never dare to say that to a 12 year old kid!

Yeah, aside from the fact that I really do like him, I think it's fair for me to say that my parents telling me 'it's just a phase' fuled the fire for a long lasting adoration. I totally agree with you gothchic.
