hi, I like a guy at my church but he has no idea who I am, and I don't know him either. I've just seen him around.

What should I go up to him and say? I just want to see if we can be friends, nothing more really... unless some sparks fly, but anyway What do ya do if you just want to meet someone and become friends,

what would you say?

well first of all you do the coy glance, catch his eye, smile then look down thing.........lol..........then try and bump into him as you leave the church , then look into his eyes full gaze, smile and say 'hi'............if he responds you can introduce yourself etc etc.............
simple as that............then the next week you can say hi knowing the ice is already broken.............does you church do coffees etc after?...i know some do.........you could ask him if he wants to grab a coffee............

How about this one...you walk straight up to them and say hi my name is------ and shake their hand. You could say that you noticed them or that you wanted to meet them. Its direct, but to the point.

that's the winner i reckon....... ...........it's the most honest

....but not many of us are very good at it. I'm pretty shy in person.
But it's the most effective. Either that or try to find out if anyone else knows him...

Here is another one... put together a project to raise funds for your church and invite him to join in ... it will be for a good cause and you will have the chance to learn more about him ... and vice-versa!

It's always worth a try.

You could always just say "Hi, I've seen you around, I'm DarvinAlmighty what's your name?" It's not so bad, just defeat your nerves and open your mouth.

I find that the best way to get a guys attention is to pull a subtle prank on them...it catches their attention, and then you have a laugh to break the ice. Nothing that will cause bodily harm though...blood isn't the best turn on!
