I never saw "Anaconda"...but JLo was in it. And there were a few moments there was a definite "how did I get myself in this situation" look on her face.

And John Voight had an accent and I couldn't fathom where it was supposed to be from...oh...Paraguay?

That's a great review!

Remember when you were little and there would be the Saturday Night Movie and it would be about a swarm of killer bees....or piranhas accidentally dropped into a lake with a camp site full of kids who went into the water despite the fact two of them screamed from the lake and went missing?

Those were spooky when you were young enough to suspend disbelief.

Now these disaster pics are much more grandiose..."Armageddon"...giagantomantic earthquakes that will split whole continents?

I liked it better when all we had to worry about was some piranhas in a lake.

Actually, I wanted to OWN a piranha so I could feed it raw hamburger.

I was reading Anderson Cooper's new book in the store yesterday. What a story!

Didn't know his mom was Gloria Vanderbilt. That amused me a little because there's so much of that brand clothes in my wardrobe and I thought 'Oh ok, so that's her'

This weekend I had the windows open and one day I heard an airplane....really loud....I was thinking, "What the @#$%? is that plane gonna crash someplace nearby?"

Then I remembered...the airshow was this weekend. It was the Blue Angels.

do you get Airforce flyovers??..........since the terrorist threats we get the RAF doing sorties overhead every couple of hours.......i guess it's because of the oil here and the rigs offshore but it's kinda disconcerting......instead of making us feel safer it kinda reminds us we are a primary target ......

My brother now works at one of the top 20 terrorist targets.

The Blue Angels do stunts in the air....otherwise, we don't have anything flying over.

Not to mention good-looking, in that cool, mature sexy way that hits you out of the blue.

....and of course, gay.

Let's hear it for Illinois where you can't smoke near a hospital, you get a big ticket for not having a seat belt on, your child must be in a safety seat 'till about 15yrs old....and you can ride your motorcycle without a HELMET.

Also, I don't get those people who won't drink tap water. They say it's gross...while sipping on a Coke....I think Coke will corrode silver, won't it? My tap water won't.

As long as it's clear, I drink the tap water. Maybe there are bacteria in it....well....I WANT to ingest those to build up my tolerance. Then, when everyone's getting the mysterious illnesses, I'll be ok...because I drank tap water.
