ok........i've not done this for a while...............here goes.........lol

Faith

I like to gaze up to the skies,
and dream of drowning in his eyes.
His arms around me warm and safe,
as i succumb to his embrace.
His love will wrap around my heart,
forever there, to never part.
But struggle i with love and fate,
i dream of peace devoid of hate.
I'll wander lamb-like, lost but free,
Until he comes to rescue me.

Fluffy

oooo...let me dust the cobwebs too

Is known a child at heart
Sometimes sweet, sometimes tart
Face pulling art
Becomes the part(pun)
In many ways does delight impart

A fleeting moment of cozy.
Better than none at all.
A waft of warmth
Regenerates the soul
And comfort is kindled by wishes
Impossible but vital
Troubles fly south with the crows.

ok.........i'm not some mad ecologist........i guess i'm thinking about the oil explosion.....

little tears......

I wish i were a little cloud
A floating in the sky
but should those CFC's pollute
I'd surely start to cry.
I'd cry until the lakes spilled o'er,
land turned to swamp and fears.
And all because you didn't care
about my little tears.

Wrapped up in a shell so tight,
without comfort, hope or delight.
A soul can not grow,
so, out it must go,
before it will shine so bright.

The candles are here.
The perfect tree too
And I feel I'm napping
With the memory of you.

Why can't we just have
One moment that has passed
At the time not well noted
It passed us so fast.

Cradling a memory,
a moment from the past,
Dancing in a dream like state
feeling our love again, at last.

Brought to life, by what I see,
with the flicker of the candles,
and the perfect tree....
as meant to be.

Fun With Dick and Jane is the movie to see
so bring everybody even Aunt Merry
Bring friends, bring family and bring strangers too
but be sure to go "shhhh" when the movie comes on.

When times get tough,
and they cause me to frown.

I try to smile,
and not feel too down.

But on the way home when the tire blew off,
I had to expell - I've had ENOUGH!!!

Tired and beaten from the slip on the stairs,
No one removed the ice that was there.

Then the secret Santa didn't come,
I thought to myself,
God, what have I done?

Well, before I could sink into a pit of gloom,
I turned on the computer,
it's screen lit the room.

It was there that I found it,
that well needed perk.
God, had sent it to me,
via an angel named quirk!!

Merry Christmas Quirky and everyone at JCO - love Laura

So are you. :D
It's amazing what a little recognition can heal.

thanks

P.S. - the secret Santa corrected the oversite this morning and the bruise on my backside is colouring up nicely, thank goodness it wasn't 1" over to the left or I would have definately cracked my spine...as for the tire...still flat and hanging off the rim....
