I think these pictures are timebound to the 80's/90's and that explains the clothing/tans etc.....re the dog, Steven DID have some wee dogs....
remember it's a true story so it's entirely possible that the producers had photos to base their reality on. I don't think they are camping it up any more than the reality of Miami beach circa that period in time.

To conclude this story .... I can say that it is film .... it's not real! Then All you can stay quiet!8)
