"Incredible Mr. Limpet" dead in the water

JCO (April 3) - The film remake of the classic Don Knotts film "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" had been rumored to be dropped. The rumor has been verified as true.

The remake was set to star Jim Carrey in Don Knotts' role, and was to be directed by Steve Oedekerk ("Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls"). Oedekerk recently reported to JCO that the project has indeed been ground to a halt. He also said that he and Jim Carrey have moved on to other projects.
