"The Truman Show" at Venice Film Festival
08 Aug 1998 "The Truman Show" will be at the Venice Film Festival in September. The movie was originally invited into competition, but Paramount preferred a non-competing spot.
Although the movie won't be in competition, Jim Carrey, Ed Harris, Laura Linney, Noah Emmerich and Peter Weir are all expected on the Lido. The Festival will mark the movie's European debut.
