I'm Dying Up Here - Two More Cast Members02 Aug 2016
By Eva Araújo (Web correspondent)
Jim Carrey's show "I'm Dying Up Here", has just cast two more actors in recurring roles!
The show follows up-and-coming comedians in Los Angeles in the 1970s, who are mentored by "Goldie" (Melissa Leo), a brassy comedy club owner who rules over her business with an iron fist and nurtures her comedians with tough love.
Many cast members have already joined the show and now it's time for Jeffrey Nording (Desperate Housewifes) and Obba Babatundé (The Bold and the Beautiful).
Jeffrey will play a Eli Goldman, a member of Goldie's inner circle and Obba will portray Barton Royce, a comedy manager.
The show where Jim is one of the executive producers, has already filmed a pilot at the request of Showtime. No dates have yet been released for the premiere
