Dumb and Dumber To Callback Characters12 Dec 2014
By Eva Araújo (Web correspondent)
A sequel is not a sequel without having characters from the first movie. Without that element it becomes a franchising, like "Evan Almighty" for Jim Carrey fans...
We were very happy to find out that in the movie you would be seeing and know what happen to some characters in the first movie.
Be aware of the following spoilers!
First we have the little blind kid from 4C named Billy who Lloyd sold a dead bird in the first movie. In the sequel, he comes back… but not alone. He has a vast collection of birds and has a new parrot pal named Siskel, capable of quoting famous film lines. Unfortunately, Lloyd manages to end Billy's birds collection in a very tragic way.
But Billy isn't the only one showing up for the sequel.
Even though we only heard of her, we will finally meet Fraida Fletcher a love interest for both Harry and Lloyd and we get to see Kathleen Turner play her! How cool is that?
We find that she got pregnant and Harry that Harry is the father… but is he really the father?
Apart from recurring lines like the famous "I like it a lot!" or finding out what's the second most annoying sound in the world, one of the most dear callbacks is Harry's Mutt Cutts van.
The dog van is by itself a character in this movie and we are so glad to see it back.
There's yet another character we get to see at the end of the final credits that's really funny. You remember Sea Bass? The man who attacked Lloyd in the bathroom and in the dinner for the first movie? Well, we can say for sure that he's definitely back… and he doesn't like Lloyd or ice cream for that matter.
But not only characters are back... Some similarities with the first movie are also in the sequel. Not only 20 years later, Lloyd still hasn't learned to use the breath spray, apparently Lloyd and Harry haven't learned yet to take an opportunity to meet hot-chicks. Better yet, they do take the opportunity but trust me… it's not what you are thinking!
