Memorable Moment: The Ellen Show 2008
29 Dec 2013

By Amanda Gillott (Web correspondent)

Jim Carrey makes an entrance on the Moped he rides in "Yes Man" with the cute doe eyed Helmet to boot as well. Of course it's a running in-joke with Ellen DeGeneres, Jim always arrives on wheels.

Ellen asks Jim what he will be doing for the Christmas Holidays and he tells us a sweet story about what happened when he saw Santa as a child. Jim is complimented on his relationship with Jenny McCarthy, which alas ended in 2010 and this leads nicely into a story about John Lennon and Yoko Ono and a connection with "Yes Man" a chance for Jim to do the plug for the film.

After the first break we have a fabulous clip of the film, love when we have a snippet of Jim singing as he's brilliant at and he tells us about all the stunts he does himself in the movie.

After another short break Ellen then sets Jim a number of tasks he cannot say "No" to and we have a fantastic funny segment where he picks an old lady from the audience and dirty dances with her, the bit where he humps her leg is a gem.

In the final segment Ellen brings out Jim's then girlfriend Jenny McCarthy, who looks beautiful all in brown and fawn. Elllen then sets Jim up and asks him to propose, the video is a must see to get a look at the shock on his face.
