Memorable Moment: The Arsenio Hall Show (1992)17 Jul 2010
By Lucas Allen (Web correspondent)
On June 12th 1992, 30 year old Jim Carrey appeared on 'The Arsenio Hall Show' to promote "In Living Color". He first talks about his brand of physical comedy that made him successful in stand-up clubs in Hollywood. He then did some physical impressions on the show including “Uh-oh! Here comes a car!” and “My darn bungee cord!”
He was then asked if he can do the same faces that he did in the comedy clubs and said no, but he did it on the show anyway. Jim said he’s also in a self-help movement saying he wants to go on a spiritual quest. He then said about the secret to Siegfried and Roy’s ‘disappearing tigers trick.’
Jim then talks about his middle name Eugene before talking about the Eugene Factor from when he was young.
