New Line's Cinema's upcoming movie, "The Number 23", starring Jim Carrey will start promoting the movie by giving people an opportunity to share their own obsessions on YouTube.
Starting this Sunday, New Line will take23-branded "Truth Booths" to bars and lounges in several American cities. The participants can confront their own personal obsessions. People, either behind a screen or with masked faces, are invited to confess their obsessions openly or anonymously. After the studio hear the confessions, the best ones will be uploaded to a special 23 YouTube channel!! New York, San Francisco and Southern California which are not on the confession-booth circuit, can upload directly to the YouTube channel. A prize of $2,300 will be given to the winner through Online voting.
Apple iTunes will exclusively run an interview with Jim Carrey filmed by New Line which will drive consumers to the YouTube channel.
