There were some release date changes done in several movies, as a result of the September 11th tragedy, including "Heist" -- which was supposed to have "The Majestic" trailer attached to. We hope to have more information on the Internet release date of this trailer next Tuesday, but for now it was confirmed to us by official sources that the theatrical trailer was pushed back a week. I've seen it! I work in the film industry and have seen the trailer to be released to exibitors. The first part of the trailer had me waiting for Jim to do something silly and comedic. But by the end of the trailer, I was blown away by the impression I was left with that he was the perfect cast for the part! Aside from it being a good trailer that gives you a 'tease' for wanting to see the whole movie, I found myself really wanting to see more of Jim as this character. There is one scene where you see Jim throw his head back in laughter, and it is definetly sincere and an incredible effort to go against his 'ssssmokin!' image. I can't wait to see more. The best part however, was that I sat in the front of the room watching the moniter, when the trailer ended, the other 8 people in the room were also blown away and had equallly as good impressions as I did! Too bad we have to wait another 2 monthes! <p></p><i></i>

I saw Domestic Distrubence today. The trailer was infront of it. I've watched it about four time on the net before then.<br>I almost cried when I watched it. Seriously.<br>Anyways, this lady behind me said, "..his first dramatic role."<br>Well, you and me both know that's not true. His first BIG dramatic role? Yes. His first dramatic role altogether? Nope.<br>I'm guessing she hadnt sen the Truman Show. But that was kinda light-hearted at some points, and had comedy---<br>Oh who am I kidding?!<br>That lady needs to wise up. Sorry. The Truman Show, Man on the Moon, Doing time on Maple Drive. Those are the only dramatic roles I know of but I guess this one is where people will actually recognize it as being serious.<br>Well, I hope he gets that Oscar. By the looks of that trailer, I'd say so...<br>But then again I would've given him something for Ace Ventura too...<br>Hehe.<br>::grumbles, and stalks off, mumbling something about Jim, an Oscar, and the Truman Show...:: <p></p><i></i>
