Favorite Halloween Costumes

Postby carreyd away » Mon Nov 01, 2004 7:16 am

I helped out at a Breast Cancer Fundraiser Saturday night where we raised over $12,000! It was a Halloween party and some of the costumes were outrageous! I wish I had pictures. The guy that won the contest was dressed in an elaborate costume that made him appear as a baby in a back pack on his mother's back. It was hysterical! Some of my other favorite costumes: one couple were dressed as Britney Spears and Kevin Ferderline (he was dressed in cargo shorts, a 3 day old beard, avaiator shades and a trucker hat) one guy was a gorilla in a pink tu-tu, a woman had a dress that was shaped like a giant martini glass and I saw a guy dressed as the "Slim-Jim" character. I dressed up as a 1950's Mickey Mouse Club Mouseketeer, my sister was Wonder Woman.

Did anyone else dress up or see any other costumes they want to share?

some of friends dressed up too.

A group dressed up as the Scooby Doo gang.
Another group dressed as drunk Scottish guys.

My friend Josh dressed up as a Gift from God. He wore a box, a fake mustache, and a curly black haired wig. It was pretty funny. I tried to put his hands on his head but he couldn't.

A friend of mine dressed up like an elf from the Lord of The Rings. She built the costume herself. It took her 3 years to build it.

One girl dressed up like the villain Poison Ivy.

One guy dressed up as The Punisher.

One guy dressed up as the politician, John Kerry.

There were others. I can't remember them all.

BEST PART!

Postby Canadian Jayne » Mon Nov 01, 2004 4:57 pm

The best part of Halloween is seeing everyones CREATIVIITY!
At the grocery store there was a clerk as a BRAIN SURGEON
At work, lots of GOULS, etc.
I think one has to be a little ARtsy to appreciate Halloween.
Those are great, thanks for sharing! :) :) :P

I take a Scary Movie - mask since three years so that I don't have to search for a new costume because the good ones are so expensive and in Germany Halloween is not celebrated that much like in other countries. This year me and my friends didn't celebrate it at all and so nobody needed a costume.
I'm qì, my friend.
