Jim co-wrote this? I find it funny I didn't know that all these years. I wonder to what extent he contributed to the screenplay. The movie definitely has that silly, Ace Ventura vibe to it, though Ace Ventura is definitely the better movie. There is a hilarious reference to Jim in the movie. And I know Jim was in one of the SNL/Roxbury skits. It's a shame he wasn't in the movie himself. It would have been better.
"The script was written by a small committee of creditd and uncredited writers, including the two stars, uncredited Jim Carrey and uncredied co-producer Amy Heckerling."
