Canadian News... Jack Layton passed away and.

The flag was half mast today.
He was from the New Democratic Party

Today I found out he actually came to
the pool and went for a swim,
I wasn't there at the time.

I think alot of Canadians are re-evaluating what really is important
in life, he wrote an excellent letter when he found out that his
cancer was progressing further than he anticipated.

May he Rest in Peace.
For us, it's so hard to believe.
He was similar to a Vice-President
or an opposition leader passing

Rumour has it that the Prime Minister won't be
back in time to go to the funeral.
I think that's a big mistake..in my opinion

Alot of people liked Jack and
if the PM does not show, to some that's
a sign of disrespect
Jack Layton worked
so hard during his campaign
and had progressive success

I hope the PM gets his hiney in gear and
shows up, to me it is a matter of mutual respect
It's like players shaking hands at the end of a hockey game
you just do it, no matter if you win or loose
