sorry folks but i was never over enthusiastic.........re-makes are a bad idea, especially if it's a classic you're raking over..........plus the Stooges are more of an American thing.......they didn't really touch Europe the first time around..........

I think Jay Leno said something about the three stooges during one of his stand-up routines in the 80's, something about how women don't think that they're funny.

lol.....the film i thought would have suited him perfectly was 'The Beaver'.......if it wasn't for Jodie Foster that is.......Mel just doesn't strike me as up to the job.......he's as hard as nails and the part sounds as though it needs soul........but i've not read the script so who knows......

sorry Cotton......no offence meant....the Stooges are brilliant in their field...the humour is very American though, i think that's why we didn't take to it.....every nation seems to have it's own humour.......

I am not offended really.lol They don't go over well with most women out here either. Its slap stick humor. Most women don't like it. Sadly Jim is included in that. :(

I dont think this movie will be done! Jim Carrey growed out beard and did other changes for that role. when I saw him in the Superman suit with conan o brein he looked like the more familiar Jim again.
