remember it is a very limited release in just IMAX theaters.
My prediction:
Opening weekend......: $800.000
Total domestic.......: $50.000.000
Total worldwide...: $100.000.000

Not for anything but if I were to have a movie done...I'd do it in IMAX for the simple fact that the pirated thiefs can't copy and distribute...it's only a thought though.

Good opening for "Under the Sea 3D" this weekend. An estimated $650,000 at the Box Office from 49 screens ($13,265 average!)

Warner Bros. Pictures and IMAX Report Strong Opening Box Office Results for Under the Sea 3D
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 17 /CNW/ - Warner Bros. Pictures Inc. and IMAX Corporation (Nasdaq: IMAX - News; TSX: IMX - News) today announced that Under the Sea 3D, narrated by Jim Carrey, opened to rave reviews in IMAX(R) theatres over the weekend, earning a total of $914,000 in domestic box office receipts on 49 screens for a per screen average of $18,661. These opening weekend results represent a 20 percent increase over the opening results of the highly successful Deep Sea 3D (2006), which is currently approaching the $80 million milestone at the global box office. This is the third original IMAX(R) 3D co-production from the partnership between Warner Bros. Pictures and IMAX.
