OOOOOO a picnic..

Postby Canadian Jayne » Mon Jun 02, 2008 2:55 pm

that sounds real good, one right by a waterfall..
what would Jim consider the best picnic lunch..
apples? peaches? pumpkin pie?
I tried taking Peanut Butter & Jam Sandwiches with me to the
beach, the cooler ended up falling down the sand cliff squashing all
the sandwiches, really looked a mess.
Nothing like PB &JM sandwiches sqashed to turn a person stomach.
Oranges would be good.

I've tried them....not too bad....I have a horror wasabi story. No clue what wasabi was at the time...it just looked like a tasty and delicious dip for sushi!  So I took my california roll and dunked it into the tasty looking dip and insterted the WHOLE thing into my mouth....

Well, needless to say, my sinuses were cleared and all and any liquid I had in my body to produce tears was expelled. It was qutie the unpleasant surprise....

Anyway, i want to add to the list of TASTY picnic foods being named and throw in KETCHUP flavored potato chips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! Canadian Jayne, I may just have to give you my addy so you can send me some!!!! They're the BEST and we can't get them in these here parts! (said with a western accent)

Oh and one last yummy thing to add....and I could kill Jim for introducing this to me, but Poutine!!!!! YUM, YUM, YUM, aaaaaaaaaand YUM!!!!!!!!! Although....maybe that might be served best as an indoor picnic on a cold night in front of a fireplace. :)
